How to read resistor color codes
Resistors use colored bands to indicate their resistance value. For a standard 4-band resistor, the first two bands represent digits, the third band is the multiplier, and the fourth band indicates tolerance.
Hold the resistor with the tolerance band (usually gold or silver) on the right side. Read the bands from left to right.
